Chapter 1: General Provisions

Article 1 (Name): This association shall be called the “Thai Herb Association of JAPAN Support for Thai Enterprises.”Including other organization.

Article 2 (Office): The office of this association shall be located within the Thai Herb Association of JAPAN.

 

Chapter 2: Purpose and Activities

Article 3: The purpose of this Association is to provide the following support to Thai companies dealing in skincare products (products subject to the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law), spa supplies, supplements, food, etc., that wish to enter the Japanese market.

(1) Support for researching Japanese laws related to import items (such as the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law and Food Sanitation Law) and handling various registrations (excluding pharmaceuticals. Additionally, issues related to CITES must be resolved beforehand).

(2) Consulting and various support services for market entry (quotes provided upon request)

1. Support for participating in various events (including pre- and post-event activities)

2. Appropriate PR and press releases

3. Sales channel research and sales strategies tailored to distribution channels

4. Customer data management

5. Satisfaction surveys for sample products

6. Market research

7. Targeted marketing

8. Design, copywriting, and word creation support for sales

 

Chapter 3: Membership

Article 4 (Types of Membership) Members of this Association shall be “Foreign Corporate Members” among Thai companies considering entry into the Japanese market who agree with the Association's purpose and activities and have paid the  membership fee (corporate entities).

 

Chapter 4: Membership Fees and Benefits

Article 5 (Membership Fee)Foreign Corporate Members shall pay a one-time, non-refundable membership fee of 30,000 yen at the time of enrollment.

Article 6 (Member Benefits) The Association provides the following benefits regarding Article 3 (1):

1. Ingredient checks based on the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, Food Sanitation Law, etc.

Pre-entry ingredient screening and adjustment advice based on the “Act on Securing Quality, Efficacy and Safety of Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, etc.” (commonly known as the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law) for products considering entry into Japan (Member special price: ¥10,000 per item)

Supplements and food products are also covered.

2. Document preparation and submission services for the “Foreign Manufacturer Notification” and “Cosmetic Manufacturer/Distributor Notification” by entities holding Japanese manufacturing/distribution licenses (Member special price: ¥20,000 per item)

3. Labeling verification for containers, cosmetic boxes/packaging, and sample packaging of supplements and food products entering the Japanese market (Member special price: ¥20,000 per item)

4. Labeling verification for product containers, cosmetic boxes/packaging, and sample packaging for Japanese market entry (included in the price for 2.)

5. Import agency services (import agency fees calculated separately on a per-case basis)

6. Other costs incurred beyond the above will be discussed separately

 

Chapter 5: Contract and Disclaimer

Article 7: Other fees related to Article 3(2), as well as consulting/support fees for products entering the Japanese market, shall be governed by separate contracts.

Article 8: The Association assumes no responsibility whatsoever for product registration or sales guarantees.

Article 9: Support services provided by the Association shall commence upon formal receipt of the membership fee payment.

 

Chapter 6: Confidentiality Obligations

Article 10: The Association shall not disclose any information provided by members to third parties. Rights to entrusted information belong to the member, and the Association shall not infringe upon them.

Article 11: The term of confidentiality obligations shall be indefinite.

 

Chapter 7: Membership Period and Cancellation

Article 12: These regulations shall take effect on December 1, 2025.

Article 13:Members shall not lose their membership rights unless they voluntarily submit a withdrawal notice.
Article14:In the event of a member's serious misconduct,the Board of Directors shall Deliberate and notify the member of their expulsion.
